Sheree Knowles, SPHR, CPM is a talented executive with over 25 years of HR leadership and project management experience. She is the Founder of two human capital and talent management firms, 8(a) and DBE certified Human Capital Consulting Consortium (H3C) and HR Knowledge Source (HRKS). HRKS was recognized as one of the Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year for three consecutive years and the 2022 Minority-Owned Business of the Year in Cobb County, GA. HRKS was recently featured in the Atlanta Business Chronicle as well as in a televised edition of Inside The Blueprint. Sheree was also recently featured in Celebrity Boss Magazine.
Prior to founding HRKS and H3C, Sheree held several highly visible senior-level HR positions, for companies with regional and national geographic footprints, including VP of HR for a $1B+ professional services firm. Her vast experience includes project management as well as leading centralized and matrixed teams in the following areas: talent acquisition; workplace civility; diversity, equity and inclusion; learning and development; talent management; performance management; employment investigations; compliance; organizational design & development; employee engagement; human resources optimization. One of Sheree’s greatest joys is mentoring and guiding upcoming HR leaders. She has helped shape the career of hundreds of HR leaders. She developed and has facilitated a mastermind course called “HR Business Partnerships – What It Really Means in Today’s Workforce”.
Through her work with HRKS and H3C, Sheree partners with clients in a variety of industries including, but not limited to: nonprofits; local and federal government; technology; higher education; supply chain management; logistics and distribution; POS retail technology; professional services such as accounting, litigation and commercial insurance. She is an accomplished practitioner who has achieved multiple certifications and designations throughout her career including: EQi 2.0 (Emotional Intelligence); SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources; MBTI (Myers-Briggs); DiSC. She is a Certified EEOC Investigator; a Certified Facilitator for ELI, Inc’s Civil Treatment Programs, a Master Facilitator for Facebook’s Leadership and Diversity Programs, and a Certified Emotional Intelligence Coach. Sheree has served as an Executive and Leadership Coach for over 15 years and utilizes the GROW model in her practice. Sheree is also a Certified Project Manager (CPM) who has led multiple $500K+ initiatives, including a partnership between Invest Atlanta and the Urban League of Greater Atlanta.
Knowles is a highly regarded organization and culture change thought leader. As a Black woman and former Vice President of HR, Sheree has experienced social, civil, and racial inequities – both at the macro and micro levels. These experiences have had a profound impact on her personal life and professional career. As an inclusion and diversity leader, Sheree helps organizations build respectful work environments where all humanity is valued and where unique differences actually bridge people together rather than reinforcing the gaps that keep them separated. She is passionate about engaging and motivating employees, developing emerging and existing leaders as well as building capabilities through organizational design, learning & development and workforce optimization. Her project management experience aligns well with her ability to build departments and organizational structures from the ground up.
Knowles is a sought-after Facilitator, Keynote Speaker, and Panelist. Her facilitation style blends humor and high energy with real-world examples and practical application. Sheree has been a featured speaker at DisruptHR, Cobb Executive Women, multiple HR Star Conferences, SHRM-Atlanta Conferences, NAAAHR Conferences, Factorial HR, several Small Business Expos, the Project Management Institute (PMI) as well as on radio and TV. She serves as a subject matter expert for entrepreneurial start-ups and has been featured in Voyage ATL Magazine and Shoutout Atlanta. She has developed and facilitated a Small Business Series for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), the Urban League of Greater Atlanta’s partnership with Invest Atlanta, Linked UP Church’s Entrepreneur Boot Camp, and Linked2StartUp programs.
In addition to managing two dynamic consulting firms, Sheree is actively involved in several professional and non-profit organizations including the Cobb Chamber of Commerce CEO Roundtable and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She serves on the Board of Directors for LiveSafe Resources and previously served as a Board Advisor for the National Association of African American in Human Resources (NAAAHR) Atlanta Chapter. Sheree was recently appointed to the University of Dayton’s School of Business Advisory Council. She and her team have provided in-kind and financial support to the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta Mission, LiveSafe Resources, and the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Ms. Knowles is a graduate of the University of Dayton and currently resides in the Southeast with her family. She is also an avid runner and Zumba enthusiast.
